Founded to uplift underprivileged girls from Shevgaon and nearby villages, Nityaseva College of Nursing offers both diploma and degree programs grounded in compassion, excellence, and professional growth. Our courses lay the foundation for thriving careers in healthcare—backed by a legacy of service from our parent institution, Nityaseva Hospital.

Nityaseva Hospital, founded in 1974 by the German Sisters of the Medical Mission Secular Institute, is a 150-bed charitable hospital serving underserved rural communities regardless of background or faith. The college continues this legacy of inclusive care and education.

Nityaseva Hospital college of Nursing is committed to prepare excellent health care providers, educators and researchers who render holistic health services to the society with a special concern for the poor and the marginalized. It also imparts human values in the young minds to serve the humanity with love, compassion, respect and dignity.

Aim for Nursing Education

The aim of undergraduate nursing program is to:

  • Prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives to provide comprehensive nursing services in all kinds of health care settings.
  • Prepare nurses who can make independent and appropriate decisions in the nursing situations, protects the rights of individuals and families and abiding by the code of ethics and legal obligations. They are also expected to be researcher, teacher, manager and supervisor in clinical and public health setting.
Objective for Nursing Education
  • Demonstrate competency in providing health care to individual, sick or well using Nursing process.
  • Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioural sciences including alternative systems and nursing in providing nursing care to individual family and community.
  • Function effectively with members of the health team and community and promote team work applying knowledge of human relation and communication skill.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skill in making decisions in all situations to provide quality care.
  • Practice within the framework of code of ethics and professional conduct and acceptable standards of practice within the legal boundaries.
  • Demonstrate leadership and managerial skill in clinical and community health setting.
  • Conduct research studies and utilize research findings to improve the quality of care.
  • Demonstrate interest in activities of professional organizations.
  • Recognize the need for continuing education and contribute towards the advancement of self and of profession.
