Nityaseva Hospital is a charitable trust, started in 1974 by the German Sisters of the Medical Mission Secular Institute and is still managed by the same Institute with the help of Indian sisters. : Nityaseva Hospital, a 150 bedded General Hospital is situated in Shevgaon. It is the only larger hospital in this area, the other centers being in the district towns, about 70-80 kms away. It aims at providing Holistic health care and curative service especially to the poor and needy of the rural area, irrespective of caste, creed and religion. Nityaseva Hospital also has a Community Health Department which serves 47 villages around Shevgaon.
